Kàvodetwè Se (/ˈcəvo/ /ˈdetwɛ/ [arsenal] [tropical]) is a subtropical Town located in Ghenuwæ̈kujmäp Hold, Novfàg Provence, within the Tauranian United Provinces.

The name Kàvodetwè Se is derived from the Tauric language, as Kàvodetwè Se was founded by Setolaemus Wynney, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kàvodetwè Se has a yearly average temperature of 20°C (68°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 11°C (51°F). Kàvodetwè Se receives an average of 254 cm/y (99 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Kàvodetwè Se covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 1434 m (4704 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Kàvodetwè Se was founded durring the late 14th century in summer of the year 1257, by Setolaemus Wynney. The establishment of Kàvodetwè Se was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Kàvodetwè Se's construction back out of the project. Setolaemus Wynney pushed on reguardles, and Kàvodetwè Se was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Kàvodetwè Se was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kàvodetwè Se is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.

Kàvodetwè Se is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of broad paverstone streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town resides behind a palisade wall complete with battlments, a moat, and timber gatehouses with drawbridges. The town's robustly designed timber walls are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

Kàvodetwè Se has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Kàvodetwè Se’s streets. A look around Kàvodetwè Se has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scutteling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s everything together. Regardless, you do not feel it would be wise to remain in Kàvodetwè Se long.

The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament.
